How the Media Work
- In our How the Media Work seminar, we'll show you everything from the gatekeeping process to how to create a news release that will provide the best opportunity for you to get your news in print or on the air. We'll also stress the importance of building valuable partnerships, and even friendships with the media folks who make a living covering your business and those like yours. This understanding of how the media work will dispel all the inaccurate beliefs about who does what in a newsroom, and why the media do things.
Preparing for Media Interviews
- Our Preparing for Media Interviews seminar is custom-designed for your type of business and includes hands-on experience in front of a camera and/or tape recorder, with a journalist asking tough questions. This is a fun experience that's valuable and appropriate for every employee in your organization. By the time this course is done, you'll know how you act in front of a camera, and how you can improve your professional image, not to mention that of your company, by being relaxed, fun and interesting during media interviews. We'll cover the "Ten Commandments of Media Interviews" and provide participants with five specific tools to give great media interviews.
Crisis Communication Planning
- We also offer the popular Crisis Communication Planning seminar, in which we'll show you how to most effectively get through a crisis situation that the media is covering, without major damage to your company's - or your own - reputation.
