Electric Radio Controlled Unlimiteds Picks Noslen as Agency of Record
VANCOUVER, Wash. — Noslen Communication has been chosen as the Agency of Record for Electric Radio Controlled Unlimiteds (ERCU).
Noslen Communication will provide marketing support, media relations and website maintenance for the organization over the next two years, according to the agreement. Noslen Communication will also provide event planning and management services.
In addition, the agency will be a year-long sponsor ERCU's 2007 and 2008 seasons and will provide sponsorship support for a minimum of two races during each racing season.
"This is a really exciting venture for us," said Principal Nelson Holmberg. "By entering in to this agreement, we will be doing work that we're familiar with like marketing, event management and media relations. At the same time, some of the work we will be doing will stretch our abilities and provide us the opportunity to grow as an agency."
Electric Radio Controlled Unlimiteds (ERCU) came into existence on January 24, 2003 as a fast electric 1/10-scale unlimited club, and was born with direct affiliation to Radio Controlled Unlimiteds (RCU), which is the granddaddy of all scale racing clubs in the nation.
This club is largely based in the Puget Sound region of Washington state.
However, in 2005, the club created the Columbia River Division in an effort to provide for potential club growth in the Portland, Oregon area. The Columbia River Division has already been very active in terms of bringing a race to Centralia, Washington, a national championship event to Woodland, Wash., and an official Rose Festival event to the City of Roses, Portland, Ore.
Holmberg has more than 18 years of experience in the communication field, and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Washington State University.
Noslen Communication provides economical services for small businesses in the areas of media relations, public relations, graphic design, communications, marketing, copy writing and more to non-profit organizations, community groups and small businesses that don’t have the resources for full-time staff to achieve the necessary communication and marketing duties.
