Noslen Communication backs Freedom Racing Team

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Noslen Communication is back in boat racing, with its new sponsorship of Freedom Racing Team, Noslen principal Nelson Holmberg said today.

Noslen Communication will be a national associate sponsor of the team’s U-21 unlimited hydroplane for the 2006 season. In turn, the company will assist Freedom Racing Team with it sponsor services, sponsor recruitment, and help with public relations and tracking media articles that run across the country.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the Freedom Racing Team,” Holmberg said. “Despite them being the newest team on the unlimited circuit, I couldn’t be more impressed with the enthusiasm, work ethic and drive these guys have.”

Driver Kevin Aylesworth said he and Freedom Racing Team owner Jeffrey Johnson are excited to be working with Noslen Communication.

“Nelson’s proven and vast experience in public relations and communication is an asset to our team,” Aylesworth said. “His professionalism and credibility are appreciated, and he shares our enthusiasm to prepare, compete and succeed.”

Holmberg most recently was part of Dr. Ken Muscatel’s Superior Racing Team from 2003-05, working in the same capacity as he will with Freedom Racing Team.

Noslen Communication was recently included in the Vancouver Business Journal’s Top 25 List of Public Relations & Advertising Firms based in Clark County, ranking in a tie for the county’s ninth-largest such firm.

Holmberg has more than 18 years of experience in the communication field, and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Washington State University.
