Home Loan Guy to sponsor U-25 hydroplane again in 2005

SEATTLE, Wash. — For the second straight year the U-25 unlimited hydroplane will be known in Evansville and Madison as the Mister Home Loan.

Sponsored by Wayne Rosburg and Charles Hall in 2003, the U-25 unlimited hydroplane was known as the Mister Home Loan in Evansville, Madison, Detroit and San Diego. Again this year, the boat will begin the season as Mister Home Loan.

After a fourth place finish in the Madison final, the Mister Home Loan returned west eighth in the O’Doul’s Championship standings with 201 points.

It is the third consecutive season that Rosburg has sponsored Muscatel’s hydroplane. In 2002, he sponsored Superior Racing Team in San Diego. Rosburg was also a sponsor of the team in the past when he sponsored Muscatel in 1993 and 1994 when the boat was known as the U-55 Pete’s Wicked Ale. He also has helped the U-3 team in the past, and for the last six years has produced collectable hydroplane buttons.

The U-25 hydroplane is the centerpiece of Superior Racing Team, which is based in Seattle and has been together since 1993.
