Royal Hotel renews sponsorship of Superior Racing Team

RICHLAND, Wash. — Royal Hotel & Conference Center has renewed its sponsorship of the U-25 Superior Racing Team, remaining the team’s “Official Tri-Cities Hotel”, the team and hotel announced today.

For the second straight season, Royal Hotel & Conference Center will be the home away from home for team members throughout their stay in Tri-Cities for the 2004 Columbia Cup. It is well known for having the Tri-Cities’ largest hotel swimming pool, and is the tallest (six floors) hotel in Richland. To hotel guests, the hotel serves up a complimentary continental breakfast with 30 items to choose from.

Royal Hotel & Conference Center will be represented on the U-25 hydroplane, and the team truck, throughout the week of the Columbia Cup, July 22-25. Superior Racing Team Owner/Driver Dr. Ken Muscatel, “the World’s Fastest Forensic Psychologist,” has been racing unlimiteds in the Tri-Cities since 1991.

“The Royal Hotel is a great place to state,” Muscatel said. “We’re thrilled that they have renewed their sponsorship of the team. Last year they made us feel right at home and took fantastic care of us the whole time we were in the Tri-Cities.”

The Royal Hotel & Conference Center, located at 1515 George Washington Way in Richland, is currently undergoing a massive remodeling project, which is expected to be completed in time for the Columbia Cup. The management and staff are committed to providing Four-Star service.

“We’re building for the future, and the more people who know about us, the better,” said the Royal Hotel staff. “Our involvement with Superior Racing Team helps immensely in our plans for the future. The team has quite a following.”

Reservations can be made at the hotel by calling (800) 635-3980, or (509) 946-4121. A virtual tour of the hotel is also available online at www.towerinn.net.
